That was beautiful, Dragon!
The fog does get clearer as you keep walking ahead. If we fall, we must pick ourselves up again, allow our inner strength to lead us and continue to walk!
i take you to a moment in time, a moment of myth ... .
you are walking down the street, it is a fog-covered night with only the moon above to illuminate your vision.
you do not need to be alone, you do not need to be walking in the fog.
That was beautiful, Dragon!

how many of you guys are vegetarians?
in my personal experience, i've only known of two jw vegetarians, and both were so for health reasons.
so i'd like to see how the x-jw community compares.
I have the desire to convert into a vegetarian....I'm not sure if that counts in your survey. I'm not a meat lover and I'd rather eat veggies and fruit if I always had a choice. I'm seriously contemplating on converting because I've read and heard on how much better it makes one feel. I'd say I'd do it for health reasons. Coming out of the Org. hasn't made a difference....I've never really liked eating red meat. Meat has no real taste and it makes you feel like you're 10 pounds heavier after a meal.

ok, im bored - really bored.
this is my favorate breed of dog................ whats yours?.
also, are you a cat or a dog person?
I own a Siamese/Himalayan male Cat named Oreo (my kids named him). He's a big and soft fluffy indoor cat....has never been outdoors. He's the most well-behaved, well-tempered kitty I've ever known.
I like dogs too, but I'd have to say I'm more of a cat person. They're more independent....like myself MEOW!!!
my dad is in very bad shape.
he has cns lymphoma.
he is sliding backwards rapidly.
DJ,
I'm so very sorry. I lost my Dad 2 1/2 yrs ago, and the way you described your Dad sounds a lot like my own. I feel sad for you.....If only we could give back what they lovingly gave to us.

how many of you are totally, incredibly happy in your marriage?
how many of you feel that your spouse is your absolute soul mate and you couldn't even imagine your being married somebody else?
talking with the women at work, i'm surprised at how many are not totally happy.
Thanks Dave, that's very kind of you.
You poor single guys have it rough, don't you (handing over a tissue)? There, there...be strong.
Dont't worry about me....it would take a lot to break me!
((hugs))

Teejay,
I could appreciate what you have to say. Hey, I've been though some very tough times and I know what heartache is, but I refuse to be so negative. There may be some truth on what you had to say, but I feel we all live our experiences and must come to our own conclusions. What is good for one may not be good for the other. I was curious as to how others felt about this subject. I personally decide to put a smile on my face, and come what may.
I'm glad I made you chuckel :) .....it's good to laugh!
recently i was watching a documentary on this woman who claimed that she could heal people with the power of her mind.
the documentary went into interviewing people about their experiences, and many of them actually had medical signs of improvement that could be documented and shown.
while watching this, i was seeing it as a example of psychic energy healing someone?
I'd just like to thank Larc for his comments and observations.
